بثت قناة الجزيرة ضمن نشرتها الإخبارية " هذا المساء" ليلة أمس الموافق 15 من نوفمبر 2006 نبذة عن مكفوفي الأردن بدأتها بتقديم الزميل محمد الشرع موظف دعم فني وتدريب لشركة الناطق في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية. ولقد أشاد التقرير بالقدرات التقنية المتميزة للسيد محمد الشرع والتي استطاع من خلالها تصميم مواقع إليكترونية عديدة مثل الموقع الخاص بجمعية الصداقة للمكفوفين وكذلك الموقع الخاص به شخصيا. كما قامت قناة الجزيرة بإجراء لقاء مع الأستاذ أحمد اللوزي رئيس جمعية الصداقة للمكفوفين في الأردن وأمين صندوق الإتحاد الآسيوي للمكفوفين والذي أكد على ضرورة مشاركة الكفيف في مجتمع المعلومات والحصول على حقوقه الطبيعية من فرص التعليم والتوظيف.ويلاحظ أن وسائل الإعلام المختلفة بدأت تهتم بشريحة المكفوفين نظراً لتوفر التقنيات التعويضية الحديثة والتي أدت إلى بروز شريحة من المكفوفين المتميزين مثل السيد محمد الشرع وزملائه من المكفوفين الذين رسخوا نجاحات باهرة على عدة صُعُد. ومن الجدير بالذكر أن السيد محمد الشرع قام بزيارات لعدد من الدول العربية أجرى من خلالها تدريب مجموعات من المكفوفين. ويعمل السيد محمد الشرع مع المهندس محمد رمضان وسائر الفريق التقني في الناطق للتكنولوجيا على إطلاق موقع شركة الناطق الإليكتروني الجديد والذي سوف يقدم المزيد من الخدمات المتميزة للمكفوفين في الوطن العربي تماشيا مع نهج شركة الناطق في تمكين المكفوفين من تحقيق الخصوصية والاستقلالية في النفاذ إلى المعلومات.
