ثوان معدودة تقرأ بعدها الوثائق العربية المطبوعة بنظام الكاميرا الناطقة (أي ريد ناو)
ضع الوثيقة العربية تحت الكاميرا ثم إسمعها تُقرأ لك أو إقرأها بأناملك بالسطر الإليكتروني. الكاميرا تعمل مع برنامج يتم تنصيبه في الحاسوب أو اللابتوب. ويعمل البرنامج أيضا مع الماسحات الضوئية أيضا.
تلتقط الكاميرا صورة عن الوثيقة ثم يتم معالجتها للتعرف على الحروف العربية فيها ببرنامج OCR عربي وبعد التعرف عليها يتم تخزين النص على وثيقة من نوع ورد. ويستطيع المستخدم إدخال تعديلات على الوثيقة كيفما أراد. الكاميرا والبرنامج المرافق لها تتوافق مع قارئات الشاشة. ويستطيع المستخدم أن يقرأ الوثيقة بآلة النطق العربية المنصبة في جهازه.

يتعرف نظ
ام الكامير (أي ريد ناو) بشكل آلي على نشاط رفع الصفحة ويفترض بأنك تريد مسح صفحة جديدة. يسمع المستخدم صوت شبيه بصوت حركة الصفحات الورقية مما يشير بأن صورة جديدة سوف يتم إليتقاطها لصفحة جديدة حيث يفيد ذلك في التعرق على صفحات الكتاب واحدة تلو الأخرى قبل تحويل المطبوعات من صورة إلى نصوص مقروءة من النظام. وببساطة ضع الكتاب تحت الكاميرا وإبدأ بتقليب الصفحات واحدة تلو الأخرى وإسمع الصوت المميز الذي تطلقه الكااميرا في إشارة تشير بالتعرف عى قلب الصفحة وبعد الإنتهاء من قلب الصفحات سوف يشرع النظام بالتعرف على الحروف والنصوص لكي يقرأها لك.
