تستمر جمعية العوق البصري الخيرية ببريدة بتحقيق التميز الذي أطلقته وذلك بتوفير برامج الهال وأجهزة الحاسوب لعدد كبير من المستفيدين في المملكة العربية السعودية حيث أطلقت الجمعية تدريبا آخرا يستفيد منه ما يفوق عن 70 كفيف وكفيفة في أنحاء متفرقة من المملكة على النحو التالي:
1- الطائف ( جامعة الطائف ) 11 فتاة
2- مكة المكرمة ( معهد النور ) 10 ذكور
3- ينبع ( ينبع الصناعية ) 12 ذكور
4- بريدة ( مقر الجمعية ) 40 ذكور
ويمول هذه الشاريع بنك الجزيرة.
وفي بريدة وللمرة الثانية على التوالي يُقام معسكر صيفي من 17/7 حتى 15/8/1430هـ يشارك فيه 40 كفيف قادمين من الطائف ، المدينة ، الدمام ، تبوك ، حائل ، الرياض ، ينبع ، ومحافظات القصيم ، وسوف تقام فيه فعاليات وأنشطة ترفيهية ودورات متعددة ، حاسب آلي ، انجليزي ، صيانة وطباعة ، هندسة صوت ، برايل.
