للمستخدمين الدقيقين والذين يرغبون في معرفة الوقت بالنطق والبرايل معا. النطق يعتبر أسرع من اللمس للبعض. وبضغطة سريعة يستطيع الكفيف معرفة الوقت بالنطق. أما في تلك اللحظات التي تتطلب الصمت مثل المحاضرات والمساجد وغيرها من الأماكن فيستطيع الكفيف فتح الغطاء بهدوء ولمس المينا ليتعرف على كم من الوقت مضى وكم تبقى منه أثناء تلك الأوقات الهادئة.
الكفيف كان يختار إما ساعة برايل أو الساعة الناطقة. ولكلاهما مزاياه ومساوئه. ساعات البرايل التقليدية قد لا تحتوي على خاصية إعداد المنبه. فنجده يضطر إلى إقتناء منبه منفصل. وبهذه الساعة تتحقق للكفيف سائر رغبات البرايل والنطق والمنبه في وحدة واحدة يرتديها حول رسغه.
وتتميز الساعة بالمواصفات التالية:
-فتح لغطاء المينا من السادسة
-مينا بيضاء وعقارب وأرقام سوداء اللون
-نقطتين بارزتين على كل من 12 و 3 و 6 و 9 ونقطة بارزة واحدة على سائر الساعات الأوقات الأخرى
-متوفرة باللون الذهبي واللون الفضي. الحزام معدني مثل ذلك الذي يشبه المطاط في الخصائص مناسبا سائر أحجام الأيادي
-تتقبل الساعة بطاريتان: إحدهما للدعم حركة البرايل والأخرى لدعم النطق. إزالة أحداهما يعطل الخاصية المناطقة لها
