2 أكتوبر 2005 استضافت شركة الناطق للتكنولوجيا يوم أمس السبت الموافق 1 أكتوبر 2005 وفد شركة أكابيلا البلجيكية المطورة للآلة النطق (سلمى ويوسف وسعيدة). ولقد استغرقت الاستضافة يوما كاملا من العمل المتواصل والذي قام من خلاله طاقم شركة الناطق باستعراض أهم وأكبر التحديات التي تواجه آلة النطق وكيفية التوصل إلى مواصلة التحديث والتطوير عليها. ولقد أظهر وفد شركة أكابيلا البلجيكية إهتماما كبيرا ورغبة في مواصلة التطوير كما أشاد الوفد بدور شركة الناطق الثمين في المساهمة في تطوير آلة النطق الحالية. وفيما يلي أهم ما توصلت له فرق العمل من الشركتين:01. توصل فريقا الناطق وأكابيلا التقنيين إلى معرفة مشكلة قراءة الرسائل القصيرة في برنامج تاليكس حيث أن آلة النطق الحالية (سعيدة) تنطق الكلمات حرفا حرفا. وسوف يرى مستخدمو برنامج تاليكس العربي ثمرة هذا التعاون البناء في غضون الأسبوع القادم إن شاء الله حيث ستتمكن آلة النطق (سعيدة) في قراءة الرسائل القصيرة.02. العمل على تحسين التشكيل وتكوين فريق عمل مشترك بين الناطق وأكابيلا والشركة الهندسية للبحث في سبل تحسين المشكل الآلي.03. الاتفاق بين شركة الناطق وشركة أكابيلا على اللقاء في أروبا قبل نهاية هذا العام وبالتحديد في بريطانيا للقاء فريق مطوري برامج الدولفين وذلك للعمل على التالي:a. إنهاء توطين آلة النطق الخاصة بقلم الهالb. وضع اللمسات الأخيرة على آلة النطق سلمى ويوسف للعمل مع هال الجيب المعد للأجهزة الكفية PDA.وتهدف شركة الناطق إلى اغتنام وجود شركائها في معرض جيتكس للقاء فرق المهندسين والمطورين والعمل على تقييم أداء العناصر الخاصة بهذه الشركات ضمن منتجات الناطق. ولقد أثبت مثل هذه اللقاءات جدواها في تذليل مصاعب جمة وذلك بهدف الوصول إلى منتجات راقية للكفيف العربي.
