Nattiq is pleased to finally launch its new portal which took time and valuable resources. Three elements made this portal a challenge. We used two local companies to develop a portal for us which they did, but Nattiq ended up scrapping them and decided to develop the site in house. The challanges faced had to do with accessibility, multilingual content adaptation and the supporting platform. Dealing with the above challanges led us to an open source solution which is flexible and user-friendly. This experience has enriched our existing skills which may benefit interested organizations in the Middle East planning to develp their own accessible multilingual portals.
